Opinion Essays

Not being a journalist, I can't really write op-eds; what newspaper would publish me? Ha. Then again, that doesn't mean I don't have opinions. My opinions are in fact quite well-formed, and I often have the opportunity to express them across message boards, forums, talk-backs, chatrooms and various other internet venues. Sometimes I have to repeat the same arguments over and over. On one such occassion, I suddenly wished I could have a web-page that expressed all of my arguments clearly and concisely, calmly and rationally, which I could then link to whenever a repeating argument surfaced on one of my message boards. It took me a bit to realize I could actually do this, now that I have my own web-space, and quite a bit longer to actually get around to building this page.

Here, however, it is: a repository of opinions. It's a bit empty as yet, but I expect I'll gradually be adding things to it. My opinions are easily provoked, and though I take my sweet time forming them to completion, once they reach coherency they gravitate online as if by their own volition.
